At the Indianapolis Muslim Community Association (IMCA), we are dedicated to being a central hub for all the services our community members need. From spiritual guidance at Masjid Al-Fajr, education through our full-time and weekend MTI and Al-Ilm schools, to social support via our food pantry, zakat, free clinic, and Janazah services, we offer comprehensive care. Join us for a special gathering designed for those preparing for Ramadan. This event is for anyone who has embraced Islam, is curious about it, or is reconnecting with their faith. It is a welcoming space to learn, share experiences, and find support.
You will hear simple explanations about why Ramadan matters, real stories from first Ramadan experiences, and practical tips and resources. There will also be an open conversation and a chance to write encouraging messages for revert gift bags.
The gathering will take place at Masjid Al Fajr in Indianapolis on Sunday February 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

IMCA Weekend Academy provides a well-structured educational program that integrates academic learning, Islamic studies, and character development within a supportive and professional environment for both children and adults.

Alhamdulillah, we were honored to host the MPI Fundamentals of Nonprofit Fundraising training in Indianapolis, organized by the Indianapolis Muslim Community Association (IMCA) in collaboration with Zakat Foundation and the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative.
The program was an enriching and impactful experience, bringing together nonprofit leaders and community members to strengthen their fundraising skills and advance sustainable, mission-driven work. We were especially grateful for the valuable insights shared by Dr. Shariq Siddiqui, whose expertise added great depth to the training.
We sincerely thank all participants, partners, and supporters who contributed to the success of this meaningful event. IMCA remains committed to empowering our community through high-quality educational and professional development programs.
Join us for a special community movie outing in Greater Indianapolis with Sheikh Ahmed Alamine featuring Time Hoppers: The Silk Road, the first Muslim animated film to receive a nationwide theatrical release.
This experience brings together youth and families to enjoy a meaningful film that highlights Muslim contributions to science and civilization. Following the screenings, Sheikh Ahmed Alamine will host an engaging reflection and discussion on Islamic intellectual history for students who attend.
The movie will be shown on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8 at 1:00 PM at AMC Perry Crossing 18 in Plainfield. A post-movie family discussion will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 2:00–3:30 PM at the MTI School Auditorium.
