Janazah Announcement

“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”

It is with heavy hearts and profound grief, yet with complete submission to Allah’s will, that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Amiruddin Abdul-Haqq, who returned to Allah (SWT) on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

Brother Amiruddin was the beloved husband of Sister Shukryah Mustafa, the father of Laylah, Ruqayyah, Hudayfah, and Nusaybah Abdul-Haqq, the son of the late Muhammed Abdul-Haqq and Rashidah Abdul-Haqq, and the stepson of Patrice Abdullah.

On behalf of the entire Indianapolis Muslim Community Association (IMCA) and Masjid Al-Fajr, we extend our sincere and deepest condolences to the Abdul-Haqq and Mustafa families.

We humbly request your presence at the Janazah prayer and burial. Please keep Brother Amiruddin and his family in your duʿās.

May Allah (SWT) grant our brother His infinite mercy, forgive his shortcomings, illuminate and expand his grave, and admit him into Jannat al-Firdaws. May Allah grant his family and loved ones patience, comfort, and abundant reward.
